☆ TUTORIAL ☆ from straight to Mermaid waves

Soo.. i bought this wig some months ago at www.Ladieshair.de but somehow i just never really liked how it looked on me.
specially because i didn't cut and style it yet.
This is how it looks yeah totally forgot to take a "before" photo

Last week i think  there was a little Cosplayer/ Otaku meet and since i didn't want to look too normal since i was to lazy to get into my cosplay i decided i was going to wear my wig
Yet again, i disliked the way it looked on me.
Then the idea of curling it came into my mind so i took my curling iron and..  i miserably failed
Time was slowly running out and i really had to hurry up so i somehow came up with this idea..
( The hair is already wavey cause i took this photos on the next day )

Before starting, make sure that you have a heat-resistant wig or else it might melt !
if you aren't sure about it test it out on a really small bit of hair first

  1. Part the hair in various small sections
  2. Braid all those sections tightly

3.  Get your flat iron/ hair straightener and go over the braided sections one by one (repeat this step if you want, so the waves look better )

Ta-daaah

 4. Open up the braided sections again and comb through the hair gently with your fingers or a wide comb
5. Go out and rock this hairstyle !

I know this was totally rushed and really short but this method to get wavey hair is just too simple so i don't think it is necessary to make a long post about this.

I hope this was helpful, enjoy your adorable Mermaid waves !
